काही कळेना कसा लागला
लिहीण्याचा हा छंद मला
ऊतरूनी येती कागदा वरती
शब्दफुलांच्या कुंद कळ्या

विविध रंगी विविध छटांच्या
वैचारीक  विषयांच्या वर्णमाला
अती आनंद सहज आणती
स्पर्शुनी जाती त्या हृदयाला

कणखर कधि मृदु लोण्याहूनही
आक्रमक शृंगारीक शब्द माला
प्रसन्न करती कधि हसवीती
उत्तेजीत करती क्षणात मनाला

सहज प्रसवूनी बहर आणती
शब्द शब्द गंफुनी मोती माला
विचार मनातील सर्व खुलवती
निर्मिती नव नवीन काव्य माला
